Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Andrey Pitunov (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”) processes information in connection with the Wobbly mobile application, its Apple Watch app and widgets (the “App”) and the website at wobbly.axiron.dev (the “Website”). The Developer is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy. Questions and requests may be sent to [email protected].

2. Summary

  • The App does not require an account and does not display advertising.
  • Information you enter about your child is stored on your devices and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud account. The Developer does not receive or have access to this information.
  • The App collects limited usage analytics that are not linked to your identity. Analytics can be turned off in the App's settings.
  • We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising or use it to track you across apps and websites.

3. Information stored on your devices

The App processes information you choose to enter, which may include your child's name and date of birth, sleep and feeding records, growth measurements, teething, vaccinations, solid foods, developmental skills and notes, as well as your own vaccinations (“User Content”).

User Content is stored locally on your iPhone and, if you use it, your Apple Watch. If you enable iCloud sync, User Content is also stored in the private database of your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service so that it is available on your other devices. The Developer cannot access, view or export data in your private iCloud database. iCloud is provided by Apple Inc. and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Usage analytics

To understand how the App is used and to improve it, the App uses the analytics service Amplitude, provided by Amplitude, Inc. (USA). When analytics are enabled, the following information is collected:

  • interaction events, such as screens viewed, features used (for example, that a timer was started) and purchase screens displayed;
  • session information, App version, device model, operating system version and approximate country;
  • a random installation identifier generated by the analytics service;
  • general attributes: App language, Wobbly Plus status, whether iCloud sync is enabled, selected App icon, selected vaccination schedule region and the child's age in whole months.

The App does not send to the analytics service the child's name or date of birth, measurements, vaccination records, notes or other health information. The App is configured so that IP addresses and city are not stored. Analytics data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking.

You may disable analytics at any time in the App under Settings → Anonymous analytics. After that, no further analytics data is collected.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Developer does not receive your name, payment card or billing details. The App verifies purchases on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework in order to provide access to Wobbly Plus.

6. Other processing

  • Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device.
  • The Apple Watch app exchanges timer data directly with your iPhone.
  • Siri, Control Center and widget features are processed on your device by iOS.
  • To check for updates, the App requests the latest version number from Apple's public App Store lookup service. No personal data is included in this request.
  • If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to you.
  • The Website does not use cookies or analytics.

7. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the App, and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your requests. You may object to analytics at any time by disabling it as described above.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by adults — parents, guardians and caregivers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Information about a child entered by a parent or caregiver remains on that user's devices and private iCloud account as described in Section 3.

9. Retention and deletion

User Content is retained until you delete it. You can delete all User Content from your device and your iCloud account in the App under Settings → Delete profile and all data. Deleting the App removes User Content stored on the device; data stored in iCloud can also be managed in the iOS Settings app under your Apple Account → iCloud.

Analytics data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 4. Because analytics data is not linked to your identity, we may be unable to identify data relating to a particular person.

10. Your rights

Depending on your place of residence, including under the GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR and the CCPA (California), you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not sell or share personal information as these terms are defined in the CCPA.

11. International transfers

Analytics data is processed in the United States by Amplitude, Inc. under its data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses where required.

12. Security

User Content is protected by iOS data protection on your device and by Apple's security measures in iCloud. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Health information disclaimer

The App provides general reference information only and does not provide medical advice. See Section 4 of the Terms of Use.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy, including before introducing features that process new categories of data. The updated Policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
